GREENSBORO, N.C. Single-game tickets for the 2009-10 season of UNCG men’s basketball are on sale now at Greensboro Coliseum box offices and through Ticketmaster’s outlets, charge-by-phone and Ticketmaster’s Web site.

UNCG chancellor Linda P. Brady announced plans last December to move the program’s home games to the Greensboro Coliseum. The Spartans will play the
first of 15 home games on Friday, Nov. 20, against the Clemson Tigers. Game time is set for 7 p.m.

Single-game tickets are available for as low as $5 in the new Spartan Spot – a special grandstand area located on floor level in the north end zone.
Other tickets range from $10 in various areas to premium courtside seating, depending on the location of the seat and the opponent. Fans are encouraged
to log on at www.uncgspartans.com for complete ticket pricing information.

The Greensboro Coliseum box office is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Tickets may be purchased on line at www.ticketmaster.com, by calling Ticketmaster’s charge-by-phone at 1-800-745-3000, or via other Ticketmaster outlets. Applicable service charges may apply. For a list of additional Ticketmaster outlets, go to www.ticketmaster.com. Additional ticket information is available at www.greensborocoliseum.com.

The home slate includes non-conference games against the aforementioned Clemson Tigers, NC State, Maryland and Wake Forest of the Atlantic Coast Conference, along with Princeton and East Carolina, and Southern Conference match-ups with defending champ Chattanooga, Appalachian State, Elon, Western Carolina, Samford, College of Charleston, Georgia Southern, Furman and Wofford.

Group ticket pricing (15 or more) is also available, as will be the Family Four Pack special that consists of four tickets, four hot dogs, and four sodas for $44. Both of those packages are available only through the Greensboro Coliseum ticket office and available in select seating areas. For more information please call (336) 373-2632.

Tickets for UNCG students will remain free with a valid university identification. New pick-up procedures and schedules for pick-up of student tickets will be announced in the coming days. Campus shuttle, tailgating and other related information will be announced at that time, as well. Student ticket allotments will range from 1,500 to 2,000 tickets per game. UNCG student tickets will be handled through the on-campus athletics ticket office. Depending upon availability, student tickets may also be available at a special gate at the Greensboro Coliseum prior to the start of the game.

General public single-game sales for men’s basketball will be handled through the Greensboro Coliseum Ticket Office and applicable Ticketmaster outlets. The UNCG Athletics Ticket Office will handle sales for the campus community.

Season tickets are still on sale for UNCG men’s basketball. Packages are as low as $99 and can be obtained by calling the UNCG Athletics Ticket Office at (336) 334-3250. UNCG faculty and staff members can also still purchase faculty/staff season packages by calling the UNCG Athletics Ticket Office.

The Spartans’ new court in the Greensboro Coliseum was unveiled in August. It has the UNCG athletics logo at center court and detailing in UNCG’s school colors: navy blue, gold and white. See the entire floor assembled in one minute on YouTube.
