GREENSBORO — Christine “Chris” Greene received the 2008 Distinguished Practitioner Award from the Department of Counseling and Educational Development .
Greene was honored for exceptional accomplishments in counseling and advocacy for professional counseling.
She taught high school for nine years before pursuing an MEd at UNCG. She went on to work for 26 years as a high school counselor in the Guilford County Schools.
Greene worked for 22 years as a counselor at Ragsdale High School in Jamestown. She serves on the board of trustees of Mt. Olive College.
