GREENSBORO, NC – Dr. Terrie Reeves, whose research focuses on the strategic outcomes of health service organizations, has joined the Bryan School of Business and Economics as an associate professor of health care administration.

She will be the first faculty member in healthcare administration at the Bryan School.

“We are delighted to have Dr. Reeves join us as our first faculty member specializing in health care administration, an area we plan to expand at both the graduate and undergraduate levels,” said Dr. James K. Weeks, dean of the Bryan School.

Reeves comes to UNCG from the Lubar School of Business at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee where she was an assistant professor. Her research focuses on the successful outcomes in health service organizations as well as organizational belief and value systems and their impact on institutions.

She is a member of the Academy of Management, the Southwest Association of Administrative Disciplines, the Institute for Operations Research and Management Sciences and the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Reeves has published extensively in management and health care journals including Strategic Organization, Journal of Management Inquiry, Journal of Leadership Studies, Journal of Business Ethics, and Health Care Management Review and has contributed to health care strategic management textbooks.

Reeves earned a PhD in administration health services/strategy from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and an MBA from New York University.

The Bryan School is the largest of UNCG’s six professional schools with 450 graduate students and 2,400 undergraduates. It is accredited by AACSB International, the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business and is among the top 10 percent of business schools nationwide that have earned accreditation at the undergraduate and graduate levels in both business and accounting.
