Paul Shepherd's novel is "More LIke Not Running Away."
Paul Shepherd will celebrate the release of his new novel “More Like Not Running Away” with a reading at UNCG.
Shepherd will read at the UNCG Faculty Center on College Avenue at 8 p.m. Jan. 19. The event is free and open to the public and a reception and book signing will follow the reading.
Currently writer in residence at Florida State University, Shepherd’s work has appeared in a number of periodicals, including Prairie Schooner, Omni, Portland Review and The Quarterly Fiction. “More Like Not Running Away” was the winner of the 2004 McCarthy Prize in fiction.
