University Librarian Rosann Bazirjian
Rosann Bazirjian,
the university librarian, is among fifteen top leaders
in the university library field who have been appointed
UCLA Senior Fellows for 2005.
The UCLA Graduate School of Education and Information
Studies selected the fellows following a nationwide
competition. As a Senior Fellow, Bazirjian will attend
a three-week program July 31-Aug. 19 at UCLA, where
she will study topics key to research library administrators.
“I am thrilled and honored to have been nominated
and chosen,” Bazirjian said. “I am looking
forward to establishing new relationships with the
other colleagues who were chosen, being exposed to
new ideas and having the time to work on an individual
research project.”
The UCLA program, first established in 1982 and held
every other year, includes formal study and investigation
into the general areas of higher education and information
policy.
