UNCG and Action
Greensboro are teaming up to offer “Triad
Career Connection,” a panel discussion and networking
opportunity about employment in the area. The event
is free and open to registered guests at 6:30 p.m.
May 2 and will take place at Triad Stage on 232 S.
Elm St. in Downtown Greensboro. Registration is requested
by Friday, April 29.
Triad Career Connection will feature a panel of experts
facilitated by The Business Journal’s Justin
Catanoso that includes:
• Catanoso, executive editor of The Business
Journal, a National Pubic Radio commentator and WFMY
News 2 Good Morning Show panelist.
• Milton Kern, general contractor and downtown
developer based in the Triad.
• Doug Speight, technology transfer specialist
at NC A&T’s Nussbaum Center for Entrepreneurship.
• Penny Whiteheart, senior vice president of
the Piedmont Triad Partnership who works to bring
new businesses to the Triad.
The event is sponsored by UNCG’s Alumni Career
Services Center, Action Greensboro and Shucka’s
Alley Raw Bar.
