The School of Education is known throughout North Carolina, the Southeast, and the nation for the quality of its students, programs, faculty, and partnerships with the public and private sectors.
One of six professional schools at the University, The School of Education's programs are approved by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction, the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE), the Council of Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP), and the American Library Association (ALA).
